Meet Lesego Matlhware; the entrepreneur behind Health Generation
We caught up with Lesego Matlhware, the Founder of Health Generation (CBD & Airport Junction). He had this to share with us:
Tell us about your restaurant and type of cuisine?
Health Generation is a Health Juice bar.
Why did you choose this particular Cuisine or Franchise?
My vision is simply to encourage health living among Batswana.
Why did you decide to go into the restaurant business?
To empower the youth and show them that it is possible to realise your dream.
What’s your secret to keeping customers coming in?
Fresh products, that are good for the health. Always fresh products.
What are you most proud of about your restaurant?
Making it in the Botswana market despite this being an unusual and fresh business concept.
We all know service is key. How do you motivate your staff to deliver the highest standard of customer service?
Team work makes the dreams work. We encourage them to work together to give the customer the best service.
How often do you innovate on your menus?
Our menus are seasonal; we change our menus depending on the season we are in and the available fruits and vegetables in each particular season.
What are the best ways for graduating students to find a job in restaurant management? How can they best break into the field?
For us, our business of healthy food is a lifestyle. First of all, you do what you preach and then of course dedication and hard work follows.
Last but not least, why did you sign up for the MyFoodness App?
We want to offer convenience for our customers. We believe the Myfoodness app offers exactly that.
